The MIT App Inventor Global Education Summit 2026: Hong Kong Educator Workshop is a local satellite event connected to the wider international community of the MIT App Inventor Global Education Summit, taking place July 6 – 8, 2026 at MIT’s Stata Center in Cambridge, MA.

Co-organized by MIT Hong Kong Innovation Node and ACTiCT, this workshop creates a space for Hong Kong educators to engage with global conversations around creative computing, responsible AI, and computational thinking — all through the lens of accessible, beginner-friendly mobile app education.

The session is taught in Cantonese and is designed to welcome educators from all levels of experience, including those with no prior coding background.
