Computational Thinking Education

For Primary School Students & Teachers

The Education Bureau (EDB) has stepped up the promotion of STEAM education in primary schools for all students by launching the “Enriched Module on Coding Education for Upper Primary Level”, adapted from CoolThink@JC. To support all publicly funded primary schools to implement enriched coding education and develop students’ computational thinking skills, MIT HK Innovation Node and CoolThink@JC InnoCommunity are jointly offering Teacher Professional Development Courses, which will cover different levels of CoolThink@JC materials, pedagogies, and the new artificial intelligence (AI) features, including Chatbot and Imagebot integration with App Inventor.

Experienced teachers at MIT HK Innovation Node also offer direct teaching to school students, giving students an inspiring experience of learning coding and AI, with our teaching philosophy that focuses on creativity, collaboration, computational thinking, expressing and problem-solving.
